Yes, this extraordinary cat has passed away at the age of 7 due to an infected urinary tract.
Grumpy Cat, whose actual name was Tardar Sauce, had her popular expression because of feline dwarfism. Her family reports that she is not grumpy at all and loves to be cuddled and petted. The first mention of this famous feline was on a Reddit post, named 'Meet grumpy cat'.
Grumpy Cat has starred in comic books, Cheerio commercials, and magazines. She was the richest cat on earth, having a total fortune of 100 million dollars!
Her family tweeted the loss of Grumpy Cat shortly after her peaceful death.
Many people are mourning the loss of many different famous people: Stan Lee, Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and now Grumpy Cat... lots of people hope that they'll meet in Heaven.
