August 27, 2019 Anna Boehmler

Hello, friends! This is Anna and I’m here with my patron saint St. Teresa
of Calcutta,
better known as Mother Teresa. This is my first Interview from Heaven

Anna
Mother Teresa
Hello Mother Teresa! Welcome to your interview!

Thank you, sweetie.

I know you’re very busy up in Heaven, quite the famous saint, so we’ll try to make
this interview quick. First question: When and where was your birth?

I was born on August 26, 1910, in Skopje, Macedonia. In fact, yesterday was my
birthday!

Happy Birthday! Now, if you’ll give me a second to look up where Macedonia is.
*looks up where Macedonia is*
Oh… it’s in Europe. I thought it was in Africa.

Macedonia is bordered by Kosovo, Serbia, Greece, Albania, and Servia.

I love this lady!
Question two: Is it true that your birth name wasn’t Teresa?

True! My birth name was AnjezĂ« Gonxhe Bojaxhiu--

(gesundheit!)

--English translation to Agnes.

Cool! Does that mean your name is Agnes Teresa?

I’ll get to that later.
I was baptized the day after my birth, and I consider this my “actual birthday”.
Double happy birthday to jac!

???

That’s Macedonian for “me”.

Ah…
Question… um… which one are we on?
Oh yeah, four.
Question Four: when did you decide to become a sister?

By age twelve, I knew I wanted to live a religious life. At 18, I left home to become
a sister at Loreto Abbey. That’s when I took up the name of Sister Mary Teresa.

Question Five: When did you take up the name of Mother and when were you
canonized?

I was called Mother Teresa after taking my final vows as a Sister.

You were canonized pretty recently, right?

Correct. I was canonized on September 4, 2016: the day before the nineteenth
anniversary of my death. My official name is St. Teresa of Calcutta, but most of
you know me as Mother Teresa.

Well! That was an AMAZING interview! Thank you for your time, Mother!

You’re very welcome.

Thank you, readers, for reading our post! Now I’ve really gotta grab another
croissant from the Heavenly Café because they are SO GOOD! Bye!
