The Coin Challenge

The Coin Challenge

In quarantine, we’ve had a lot of extra time to ourselves, which is a great time to focus on change (intended pun)! I’ve put together a quarantine challenge that you can do based on the number of coins you have.

  1. Penny For Your Thoughts

The U.S. has experienced a lot of protests and violence because people think differently. Instead of making a point by force, talk it out. Send a letter, email, or call a political leader and tell them how you think the community could be changed.

For every 30 pennies, contact one person. 30- one person, 60- two people, 90- three people, etc.

  1. Let someone give you their “two-cents”

Now that you’ve said how you feel, let someone tell YOU how THEY feel. Facetime call or text a friend. Listen to what they have to say, and encourage them. Everyone’s voices should be heard!

For every 50 coins, listen to one friend. 50- one, 100- two, 150- three, etc.

  1. Make a “Change”

What the world needs right now is a little kindness. Try to give random acts of kindness to brighten up someone’s day. Put a penny on the road for a child to find, pay for the person behind you at Starbucks, just little things can make someone happier.

For every quarter, do one random act of kindness. One- one, two- two, three- three, etc.

Thank you for reading and have a blessed day!

Anna ❤
