Did you have a happy Fourth of July? I did! And even though Mom won't let make slime, I decided to share the recipe with you!
This recipe has NO GLUE and NO BORAX (although you can add some if you want)!
Ingredients:
- Cornstarch
- Water
- Red and blue food coloring
- Small stars (try silver or white for the best outcome)
- Three bowls
Take the bowls and mix an even amount of cornstarch and water into each bowl. If the mixture gets too thick, add more water, and if it's too thin, add more cornstarch. Add the red food coloring to one bowl and blue to the next. The third bowl should be white. Knead the red and blue slime until the food coloring is even. Add the stars while you are kneading. Finally, take the slimes and braid them together until it looks patriotic enough.
I made this recipe with no glue, but if you want it, be my guest. It makes a texture that's more slimy.
I hope you enjoy your slime!
-Alexis
