Solitude
Hi! Alexis here, and I'm here to talk about why we couldn't post anything for the last couple of days.
We were at Solitude, a great skiing resort for intermediate/advanced skiiers. I wouldn't recommend starting off there, but once you get the hang of it, Solitude has a well spread range of blues and blacks, both easier and harder. They have some greens, but all at the bottom of the mountain, and only four or five of them. It's only 30-35 minutes from the closest airport, whereas some other ones you have to drive for up to four hours. It was a crazy good season with really good snow, although it rained in the afternoon. On the other hand, it was amazing packing snow, and if you skiied at the right speed and touched the ground a snowball would roll up! The teaching experience was amazing and fun! I recommend it if you have skiied at least 2-3 times before.
